Intel is conducting an interview for the post of GPU Design Verification Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
In this position, Candidate will be responsible for the pre-silicon validation of Intel Display IP built in-house. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Familiarizing yourself with design aspects of the Display Architecture, graphics components and usage models
- Prepare and implement a robust end-to-end / comprehensive RTL verification test plan for IP
- Develop any needed verification / regression enabling automation tools / methods / flows as needed.
- Prepare and implement IP/sub system level test bench along with relevant test cases (directed / randomized) with appropriate assertions and drive to meet set coverage goals.
- Be familiar with RAL standards for register validation. Be familiar with NLP flows for UPF based low power verification and GLS flows.
- Set clear expectations of coverage metrics vis-a-vis code coverage / functional / feature driven coverage and drive to achieve the same.
- Possess sharp test content creation, debugging skills and file for bugs and close on them in a timely fashion.
- Analytically designing and developing/Scripting test scenarios and using system validation tools execute these tests on emulation/simulation.
- Develop efficient verification methodology using Scoreboards/checkers.
- Debugging issues seen during these validation cycles, communicating the status of work, and working with stakeholders to debug/resolve those issues.
- Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
Qualifications required:
- Technical Master’s degree or a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Embedded Systems with 2-7 years’ experience in areas of VLSI Design and Verification of complex Ips like any image processing IPs, Digital signal processing IPs etc.
- Should have good understanding of Computer architecture, micro controller/microprocessor.
- Strong knowledge in Basic Digital electronics, VLSI Design, embedded system, RTOS concepts along with working experience.
- Should have good knowledge/working experience on RTL Design using Verilog/VHDL, UVM concepts with experience in developing testbench sequences, drivers, scoreboards independently.
- Should have good understanding of programming languages like C, C++, OOP.
- Should have good working knowledge on scripting languages like Perl, Ruby, Python etc.
- Should have good problem-solving skills, debug skills and communication skills.
