Job description:
Google is hiring for the post of ASIC SoC Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, support, and execute to fulfill signoff requirements for IR drop, electro-migration (EM), ESD, and other electrical parameters at both full-chip and block levels.
- Work closely with CAD teams to implement the necessary flows and deploy them effectively to the implementation teams.
- Provide documentation, training, and ongoing support to CAD and implementation teams.
- Develop strategies for silicon measurement and validation concerning electrical aspects.
- Analyze electrical issues and feedback obtained from silicon testing, and provide necessary insights and recommendations.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in physical design and EMIR.
- Proficiency in ASIC physical design flows and methodologies across various process nodes.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in IP integration, including memories and Analog IP.
