Job description:
AMD India seeks talented and self-motivated students to join the team, focusing on Memory Controller Verification for AMD’s server and client products. This role involves understanding the testbench and debugging regression failures.
The Ideal candidate:
AMD are searching for individuals who are intelligent, creative, and passionate about tackling complex problems. The perfect candidate should possess a robust background in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and object-oriented programming concepts.
Required skills:
- Strong understanding of digital design and computer architecture.
- Proficiency in UNIX and Linux operating systems.
- Expertise in Verilog, SystemVerilog, C++, and Python programming languages.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a willingness to explore unconventional solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with global teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with team members, particularly with DV and RTL owners of specific blocks, to resolve issues promptly.
- Innovate solutions to enhance testbench debugging cycles.
Preferred experience:
- Exposure to digital design, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Python would be advantageous.
Academic credentials:
Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communication, pursuing a master’s or Ph.D. in VLSI Design or Microelectronics.
