CISCO is hiring for various positions in Bangalore.
Position #1: Site Reliability Engineer Trainee
- Designing, writing, and building tools to enhance the reliability, availability, and scalability of critical systems and services.
- Automating deployments, monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing products/services across Network platforms and environments, as well as Change management procedures and deployment processes.
- Maintaining the engineering environment to support automated testing of code used by customers/clients with zero downtime principles in mind.
- Serving as a bridge between development and operations, applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.
Position #2: Software Test Engineer Trainee
- Gaining real-time insights into application performance, user experience, and business outcomes.
- Providing visibility into end-to-end application performance from user interface points.
- Automating and testing products while monitoring cloud-based solutions.
- Developing frameworks for automating tests that validate complex distributed systems.
Position #3: Software Developer Trainee
- Proficiency in programming languages and familiarity with the latest development methodologies.
- Deploying new software and upgrades to a large SaaS environment, adhering to change management procedures and deployment processes.
- Developing one or more tools within the operations team to automate complex tasks.
Position #4: Hardware Engineer Trainee
- Understanding concepts of HDL or other tools for drawing schematic designs and their processes.
- Translating hardware schematic designs into layout designs.
- Executing test cases using scripts, sharing test logs, and performing analysis.
- Conducting different levels of hardware automation, validation, and testing where applicable.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Graduated in 2023/2024 and obtained a final degree completion certificate or Provisional Degree Certificate.
- Available for a 12-month period starting August 2024.
- Possess good communication skills, a passion for technology, and a desire to learn with proactive engagement in a team.
- Enrolled as a “student” on https://nats.education.gov.in/ and have a valid student enrollment number issued by NATS.
