Job description:
Danfoss seeking an Application Engineer to assist in optimizing equipment and methods to support laboratory management.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Support the laboratory management within the areas of equipment & method optimization as well as necessary QEHS activities
- Carry out necessary equipment calibration & maintenance and give input to the calibration & maintenance plan
- Maintain and develop technical competence within specific given relevant areas
- Perform laboratory task within various project categories
- Lab representative in NPD project groups
- Perform project related tasks by measurement / evaluation & feedback with respect to results, method and equipment / tooling
- Coordinate tasks with engineer colleagues and /or delegate measurement tasks to lab technicians
- Perform competences build up at own or other labs within own field of expertise
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor or master in Engineering or similar (Mechanical with Refrigeration specialization preferred)
- Perform complex task solving including method specification, data acquisition and measuring technique
- Good understanding of laboratory equipment and laboratory method capabilities
- Experience & Knowledge on HVAC products is preferred
- High accuracy in work / data evaluation
