Harman is conducting an internship for Engineers in Bangalore.
The Internship Program offers a comprehensive experience designed to foster both personal and professional growth for our co-ops and interns. It is tailored for students pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs where internship experience is mandatory as part of the curriculum, or for those who have recently completed their studies and seek short-term work exposure.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Engage in diverse technology areas such as Embedded RTOS, Android, C++, and Linux. Participate in Static Code Analysis checks. Contribute to Unit Testing using the Google Test Framework. Work on software programs and software system development. Seize the opportunity to tackle challenging tasks across the multi-layered software stack, requiring specialized skills. Collaborate within a highly dynamic, fast-paced team focusing on disruptive technologies.
Qualifications and experience required:
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics.
- Degree in Computer science or related fields.
- Proficiency in Embedded C / C++.
- Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
- Working knowledge of the Linux Platform.
- Basic technical understanding of Development and familiarity with C++, C, and Linux skills.
- Desirable knowledge of Android Basics.
- Ability to test software using debuggers, emulators, and simulators.
- Capability to perform software releases and software quality assurance activities.
- Positive attitude towards learning and collaborative teamwork.
- Preference for working from the office. Awareness of evolving automotive trends and best practices, with a commitment to continuous learning and skill refinement.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Apply original thinking and continuous improvement to enhance processes, products, systems, or services, adapting to better serve customer needs.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience in code development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated initiative to achieve superior, quality results against internal or external standards of excellence.
