Job description:
Molex is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Support design, development, and modification of electromechanical connector and related products in the Datacom and Specialty Solutions division.
- Design and development of tooling and fixture solutions supporting component manufacturing, assembly and quality functions
- Provides CAD and technical support to design engineers, product marketing and other stakeholders.
- Work globally with diverse cross functional teams to bring products to production and in sustenance of products
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisors
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical
- Additional qualification in product/tooling engineering
Preferred:
- Proficient in solid modeling experience to generate 3D models & 2D draftings
- Possess good knowledge in designing plastic, sheet metal & machined components
- Analytical ability to apply logical reasoning, test assumptions, observe results and make corrections
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and presentation tools
- Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and in a team
- Experience in designing electromechanical products such as connectors and cable assembly
- Material and manufacturing knowledge of plastic, sheet metal & machined components
- Proficient in Siemens NX 11 and Teamcenter PLM
