Job description:
Loccioni is currently seeking qualified candidates for Mobility Customer Care position (Field Service Engineer) at Loccioni India.
Role and responsibilities:
- The person shall be responsible for system installation, user training, ordinary/ extraordinary maintenance and onsite/remote customer support.
- Installation of testing machines
- Follow the commissioning and Machine Qualification (MQ2) at customer site
- Servicing the new and already installed machines
- Manage ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities
- Interact with customers to resolve problems on the end of line and laboratory test benches.
- Collect information about the issues at customer site and report them to the service team in Italy
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to work varied schedules including overtime, and holidays, which can be conveyed on short notice
- Work as a key member in a dynamic team providing maintenance services for automatic test benches
- Be able to learn quickly and be interested in the field of industrial automation
- Become an expert and perform work professionally
- Perform ordinary maintenance, troubleshooting, problem solving and basic field repairs of system components
- Represent our company at the job site by interfacing with clients during job site visits; manage and satisfy client expectations
- Generate field reports and other required documentation as needed
- Extensive domestic and international travel will be required
- To be willing to travel and work on non-standard days/hours when necessary
- Provide suggestions to maximize the efficiency of our operation and for technology modifications which will benefit system up-time and productivity
- Work is performed both remotely and locally at the customer sites
- Willing to travel to Italy for training
Qualifications and other requirements:
- Diploma/bachelor degree in any of the following fields: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial and Mechatronics
- Having a technical background – field service, technology maintenance or development, mechanics, pneumatics, electro-mechanical, control systems
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, mechanics and control systems
- Hands on troubleshooting experience is a major plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of 3D mechanical design tools is a plus
- Keen interest on automotive industry is a plus
- Work in a detail-oriented way, be an active and fast learner, able to cooperate well in a small team
- Proficient in English, effective communication and interpersonal skills; Is capable of accurately completing reports outlining daily work performed in English; knowledge in Italian language is plus
Other key skills required:
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical problems and recommend potential solutions
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and pneumatic/hydraulic schematics
- Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent documentation, prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and customers at all levels
- Must be self-motivated
- Frequent travelling
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
