Job description:
Synopsys is conducting an internship for Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of products/applications/solutions in physical Design.
- Uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assists Application engineering team in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
- Runs full-R2G flow regressions on Customer Testcases.
- May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/systems and R2G PPA Results.
- May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
- May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
- May also provide post-sales technical support for implementation, training, and maintenance of company products/applications/solutions.
Qualifications and other requirements:
- Typically requires an entry level (0-1 years of working) experience in physical design.
- Having a thorough R2G flow knowledge is a plus. Understands and explains related technical issues, knowledge of company products and all potential applications.
- Has a very good knowledge of one or more physical implementation tools (DC, ICC2, FC).
- Has effective communication skills.
- A good customer interface, negotiation communication, and planning skills are Plus.
