Job description:
SNC Lavalin is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter to join the team as a Graduate Engineer. This role will be based at the Atkins office in Bangalore, IN.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Has a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources or Environmental Engineering or Geology or Geography.
- Hydraulic modeller with experience of 0 to 2 years in the water and wastewater consultancy industry.
- Preferable experience in Urban Drainage Modelling or Sewer/ Storm network modelling/ Design or Flood modelling.
- Hydraulic modelling includes model build, verification, risk assessment and solution development using hydraulic modelling software (preferably in InfoWorks CS/ICM SE/ICM 2D or Windes or Bentley suite of software).
- Clear and demonstrable understanding of drainage infrastructure and practices related to UK water industry.
- Other related software experience can be in TUFLOW, ISIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Flood Modeller, SWMM, XPSWMM, MicroDrainage.
- Has sound analytical skills in quantitative and data interpretation.
