Sigfyn is a FinTech start-up that empowers its users by providing a technology-based personalized wealth management platform comprising a comprehensive suite of products for identifying multi-asset class investment opportunities, protecting assets by managing risk, and offering innovative solutions to manage and build their finances.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer Trainee, you’ll support the end-to-end software development and integration of the cloud-based SaaS product from the ground up. Part of this system integrates data across multiple external systems, exchanges messages using micros-services in low latency and auto-scaled environments. Every day we’re pushing the boundaries of what can be done in a truly polyglot, distributed, and serverless environment. This role expects you to be creative and motivated to work in a fast-paced, distributed environment. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the system and therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and excellent code quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain excellent React Native applications and micro-services using AWS Lambda with well-crafted code.
- Build pixel-perfect UIs across both web and mobile platforms.
- Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent native user experience
- Build efficient back-end features in Python
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Ensure the quality of the software you write via unit tests, integration tests, and automated UI tests.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Completed BE/B.Tech or MCA with 0-2 years of experience
- Excellent academics throughout
- Must have knowledge of React Framework (web & native) and Python. Candidates who have trained on the technologies or have certification are preferred.
- Good grasp of data management systems including relational and non-relational data engines (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDb, and similar)
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming patterns
- Knowledge of using GitHub
