Job description:
West is hiring Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Maintenance activities as per preventive maintenance scheduled.
- Installations of equipment, utilities and process machineries and coordinate with other interdepartmental trades
- Instrumentation and control system installation and maintenance.
- Energy saving.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Schedule preventive maintenance activities and to be carried out promptly.
- Schedule maintenance team shift roster to meet operation needs.
- Be responsible and expedite on equipment repair at all times.
- Ensure minimum equipment downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure that any equipment that repaired by maintenance team must be verified and signed by the process owner.
- New equipment installation and validation.
- Always Maintain safe working environment and good housekeeping.
- Ensure proper documentation of all engineering aspect.
- Ensure statutory requirement and GMP compliance.
- Observe for energy saving possibilities and execution.
- Review/update SOP & SOI that related to equipment.
- Carryout duties as directed by superior.
- Quality: The job holder is aware of his/her special responsibility for quality and conducts his/her activities in accordance with the Company’s quality policy at all times.
- Be responsible to conduct good quality of all facilities aspect.
- Ensure that all operations in your area of responsibilities are compiled as per GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 15378, ISO 14971 & ISO 13485 (as per current version) etc.
- SOI: The job holder is aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
- Safety: The job holder is aware of his/her special responsibility towards health and safety in accordance with the company’s safety policy at all times.
- Proper supervision of work and immediate action on unsafe practices.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Work safely by not causing unsafe conditions or doing unsafe acts
- Lean: Support and contribute actively in Lean sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.
- Switch off the machinery if it is not operating; Switch off the lights and air conditioning if you are the last person to leave the premise.
- Simplify processes and improvements; reduce printing or photocopying; use recycle papers.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering /Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 0-3 years of experience in plant maintenance and safety in industrial environment
- PLC basic level concept, programming, troubleshooting experience is must
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in Pharma industry will be preferred
- Project management skill, Interpersonal Skill, Communication skill, Energy conservation knowledge will be an added advantage
Travel Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Physically fit & healthy
