ABB India is conducting an interview for the post of Global Technical Support Specialist.
This is Technical Sales Support Specialist role at global grade, reporting to Technical Sales Support Manager – in motion division located in Vadodara.
In this role, you will be a technical support person for the Large Motors and Generators’ sales organization in Vadodara , India providing technical solutions and advice on ABB products and applications.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales team by providing advice on technical solutions, products and applications.
- Making mechanical studies and calculations to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency in the production phase.
- Evaluating that customer requirements of offered machines are fulfilled.
- Coordinating sales phase engineering activities.
- Documenting your technical support results in an understandable and precise way in our sales support
Qualifications and Experience required:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, working on order engineering, R&D or similar.
- Sound knowledge of electrical motors, synchronous or induction motor experience is a benefit.
- Competency in 2D or 3D design programs such as NX, I-Deas or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor or Master of Science in mechanical engineering.
