Job description:
Cadence India is conducting an interview for the post of Product Validation Engineer I.
This is a junior level position in the Hardware Emulation Product Engineering team in the Verification Business Unit. The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in Functional Verification using Verilog/ SystemVerilog/ UVM. Emulation experience is a strong plus for this position.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The role requires analyzing customer requirements for best emulation performance and working with multiple teams within the organization to enable that. The range of activities include analysis to measure trends over time, identifying bottlenecks or degradations and running targeted experiments for improvements. Also, analysis, modeling and testing to validate product specifications. The objective is to enable higher customer productivity and as a result, higher customer satisfaction.
knowledge and skills required:
- Author Product Requirement Specifications to capture customer requirements and use cases.
- Review Functional Specifications of software developers to satisfy these requirements across aspects of Functionality, required Usability, Reliability, Performance, Supportability and Interoperability
- Drive presentations and demos to represent the trends of key Performance Metrics.
- Contribute to Technical Application Notes
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Processes
- Experience with Simulation Verification and/ or Emulation or Rapid Prototyping for RTL designs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Qualifications and Experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering 0- 2 years of related experience, or Masters with related experience.
