Job description:
Hitachi Energy is conducting an interview for the post of Service Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the commissioning work being carried out in perfect technical order.
- Carrying out supervision of installation / Commissioning and maintenance work independently.
- Instructing, supervising and controlling the installation personnel reporting to him.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the installation requirements and instructions.
- Ensuring that the necessary accident prevention measures are observed; specifically, he abides by the guidelines for work on live system components.
- Supervising the adherence to the safety and industry acceptable practice.
- Ensuring that the stipulated deadlines are met, i.e. he is responsible for detailed installation planning on-site to enable that bottlenecks are identified well in advance to formulate proposals for achieving targets and implementing appropriate measures.
- Co-ordinating the work & attending the local construction meetings. Authorized, following consultation with the competent PM or the Hitachi ABB representative and work under the guidance of representative.
- Responsible for adherence to the quality assurance requirements on the construction site and seeks to improve these continually.

Qualifications and Experience required:
- A Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Around 1-2 years of hands on experience in AIS Installation & Commissioning is preferred.
