Job description:
Emerson is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Create Models / Assemblies / Drawings in SolidWorks / Creo designer, drafter software.
- Maintain documents in PDM Works / Work Manager PDM’s.
- Understand the 2D / 3D AD System funtionality and constantly aid in improving it.
- Preparation of Schematics and Bill of Materials for Level Drawings
- Support global locations with drawings.
- Capable of working and understanding Macros in SolidWorks / Co Create.
Essential responsibilities:
- Create simple models using Solidworks and Production Order Tool
- Draft Level 2 & Level 3 drawings using solidworks / Creo
- Understand Hookup concepts with assistance from Senior Drafters
- Support Outline drawing using ADCI
- Create missing models in assembly using procedure documents
- Support Senior Drafters for WA customer drawing requests
- Identify and populate Hook Ups of new instrument combinations in database
- Handle drawing revisions from PM
- Update drawing status in Tracksheet for workload management
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic Computer Knowledge.
- Time Management
- Problem Solving and decision making Skills
- Basic knowledge in solidworks
- Years of Experience: 0 – 3 years
