Job description:
Tenneco is conducting an interview for the post of Analysis Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Thermo-mechanical stress simulation and Fatigue analysis of automotive components utilizing commercial Finite element codes.
- Design validation, optimization and failure analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Recommend modifications to improve component designs.
- Coordinate with Design Engineering and other departments in the product development.
- Work on global FEA projects.
- Develop / implement new analysis techniques to improve the current analysis methods.
- Documentation of analysis reports in compliance with global standards.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- BE / ME, Mechanical, Automobile
- Strong analytical skills to resolve problems involving durability of pistons and pins utilizing FEA.
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Fast learner and independent problem solving ability.
- Good teamwork skills, strong verbal & written skills.
