Job description:
QAD is seeking an entry level Linux System Administrator who has the skills, qualifications, and commitment to help achieve the business goals. Important note: This will be a 2 months internship project and can be converted to full time opportunity based on performance and availability of project.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Perform routine systems administration tasks related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- Perform ongoing resource management activities related to disk, memory and CPU.
- Administration of QAD Active directory and domain controllers
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Participate in OS patch management and coordination.
- Disseminate knowledge and experience gained with the rest of the team.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Should have completed RHCSA or RHCE certification training.
- Entry level experience as a Linux system administrator is an advantage.
- Must be able to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
