Signal Processing Engineer | Texas Instruments | Bangalore, KA

Job description:

Texas Instruments is conducting an interview for the post of Signal Processing Engineer.

About the group:

The High Speed communication infrastructure product group focuses on developing differentiated integrated transceiver SoCs addressing high speed wireless and wireline markets. Products from the wireless infrastructure group have been widely deployed by customers in their 3G/4G/5G products. The wireline communication solutions are deployed in cutting-edge data centre, AI, BigData and supercomputer applications. The team has produced and released multiple generations of products based on low-IF, zero-IF and RF sampling architectures. These products comprise high performance RF front-end, analog base-band, high speed converters, high speed digital front-end, signal processing algorithms, embedded micro-controllers, high speed interfaces, etc. These integrated transceivers support very high bandwidths, requiring high speed GHz data-path processing, and are developed in advanced sub-micron technology nodes, like 28nm/16nm. Power consumption, performance and complexity are critical care-abouts that need to be addressed through differentiated architectures and designs. We are looking for passionate, creative and self-driven engineers who would challenge traditional techniques and come up with innovative solutions to make a difference.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop signal-chain architecture for Wireless & Wireline Infrastructure systems.
  • Work on:
    • Spec definition
    • Module Design & Hardware-Firmware partitioning
    • System modeling & analysis
    • Firmware architecture and Coding
    • Performance analysis & optimization
    • Floating point & fixed point arithmetic implementation
    • Documentation
    • Test and Debug.
  • Contribute to the design and development of advanced analog/digital SoC ICs and System products from concept to volume production.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering
