Unbox Robotics is conducting an interview for the post of Hardware Design Engineer.
Keywords:
Eagle/Altium/Orcad, Microcontroller, debugging, troubleshooting, digital & analog circuit design, MOSFET, Contactors, Power, PCB design, schematic, layout, DSO, DMM
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Members of this team designs, develop and test mobile robot System Software
- The team will be engaged in the planning, design, development and testing of AGV systems.
- Design of analogue and digital circuits.
- Documentation of design specifications and implementation details.
- Uphold hardware design standards and methodologies.
- Realization of complex system requirements to provide robust and reliable hardware solutions.
- Responsibility for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding/appreciation of system level items.
- Design for Manufacturing by collaborating with the manufacturing team
Qualifications and other requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree
- Experience with Eagle/Altium or equivalent software
- Knowledge of embedded circuit development
- Knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
- Hands on experience with the soldering iron for the creation of test circuits
- Experience with microcontrollers (for example, AVR, ARM, Cortex, etc.)
- Good hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Able to support/debug system integration
- Good communicator
Eligible candidates:
- BE / B. Tech in Electronics or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Hardware Engineer – I: Min 1 year of experience. Internship experience will be considered.
- Hardware Engineer – II: 2-3 years of experience
- Hardware Engineer – III: 3-5 years of experience
- Strong communication skills both oral and written at technical level
