Gates Corporation is hiring engineers in Faridabad.
Gates Corporation is searching for an individual who possesses the technical skills like developing, configuring and maintaining Gates Hose, coupling and hybrid products technical documentation and services, this includes supporting product quality assurance and analysis, product manufacturing methods and processes, product comparison and validation testing, collaborating globally with Gates engineers, and supporting customers both internally and externally. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This role is responsible for executing product design initiatives related to Gates Coupling and Hybrid products strategies and their implementation, manage the technical function, and obtain and oversee the work-related areas together with Senior Manager – Technical to achieve overall organization’s objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.
- Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.
- The responsibilities of the role include technical skills like developing, configuring and maintaining Gates coupling and hybride products technical documentation and services.
- Managing the post innovation (innovation 2) Team in the India
Accountability #1: To create JOB Card for Couplings, Hose assemblies and Hybrid assemblies in Oracle (For Faridabad & Pune).
Accountability #2: To get the approval for new created JC with all concern & release.
Accountability #3: To upload BOM & routing in oracle for hose Assembly & coupling.
Accountability #4: To create new product design as well as the Top-Level design.
Accountability #5: To initiate bending/staking Tooling requirement to supplier with approved PR
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent operates as an Individual contributor & reports to
Sr. Manager – Technical in all day-to-day operations to achieve the objectives of the company.
Qualifications and Experience required:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Graduate Mechanical Engineering
- 1~3 years of experience in Design /other technical function
Skills required:
- Knowledge of material, Design software and machining operations.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management.
- Strong communicator – both written and verbal in technical and non-technical environment, including proficiency in English language.
- Excellent computing, secretarial, interpersonal and team working history.
- Proactive, self-motivated.
- Works well under pressure, demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skill and team player. Ability to build collaborative relationships cross hierarchy, cross function and cross region.
