Job description:
Eaton is conducting an interview for the post of CAD Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Understand Project / Work Scope, plan and deliver quality output / deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline
- Work on CAD Activities thru’ respective design guidelines as needed
- Develop 3D solid models and assemblies of design components.
- Complete the drawings along with tolerances, GD&T, analysis of fits and clearances.
- Prepare engineering documentation including bill of material
- Intermediate Interaction with Project Leads at Business Unit thru’ Verbal & Written Communication
- Contribute to EIC-Pune Assigned Initiatives
- Interact with other team members (global / locally) to meet and optimize product design requirements.
- Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required.
- Adherence to quality process. On time delivery & Quality of the deliverables
- Communicate and coordinate results with the team members
- Willingness to learn is critical
- Support various organizational initiatives like Innovation, Safety, Customer focus, processes etc.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Minimum Bachelor’s in Engineering Mechanical / Production having relevant design exposure for Component design with variety of manufacturing processes with @ minimum 3 – 5 years preferably in Valve Domain
- Software skills: Creo (Expert level), knows MS Office Software tools such Word, Excel & Power Point,
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink
- Knowledge of Strong modelling and drafting practices
- Working knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Study and International Standards.
- Basic Knowledge of Pneumatically operated Solenoid operated control Valves,
- Keywords: Solenoid Valve, Pneumatics, Air Operated Valves, Valve Design, Pneumatic circuit diagrams, Pneumatic Flow Diagrams, Pneumatic ISO Symbol
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining, casting, Forging, Stamping and plastic molding
- Strong interpersonal skills and team working player.
- Good Lateral Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
- Respect company’s values and ethics
- A willingness to learn is critical
- Good Communication skills in Verbal English with neutral accent is desirable
- Prior Working Experience in Global Engineering Environment is preferred
