SIMULIA has an opening for a Model and Process Automation Engineer Intern. You should be able to leverage your technical skills to get industry knowledge and hands-on work experience by working on real industry problems. The skills gained in terms of CAD modeling, DOE, FEA are highly sought after and will benefit your engineering career.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the team to develop the workflow methodologies on SIMULIA products for modeling automation projects and DOE on 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
- Demonstrate the modeling automation and DOE capabilities of the SIMULIA product suite to current and potential customers in T&M, A&D, IE and HT industries
- Gaining skills in terms of CAD concepts, DOE algorithms, Basic FEA, programming in VB, Python in above industry domains
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Must possess an aggregate of 60% in 10th / 12th / Diploma/ BE/ M.Tech (Pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering
- Good understand of mechanics, optimization and finite element analysis concept
- Hands on with any simulation tools like Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, Dyna
- Hands on skills in basic programming (Python, VB)
- Hands on with any preprocessing software like Hypermesh, Ansa
- Hands on with any CAD software such as CATIA, Solidworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues
