Synopsys is hiring for the post of R&D Engineer, I.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The candidate will be working on the leading industry software tool on library characterization. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, running & automating regressions suite, troubleshooting issues and testing features.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- 0-2 years of experience
- Working knowledge on one of Tcl, Shell Scripts, Python, Perl is required.
- Experience in handling regression systems with shell scripting, Tcl is big plus.
- Prior knowledge and experience with CAD tools is desirable.
- Should have desire to learn and explore new technologies.
- Should possess good analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work with team on task-oriented projects.
- Previous experience on any one software versioning tools like Perforce, Clearcase, Git, CVS, SVN etc. is good to have.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
