Job description:
Encord is conducting an interview for the post of Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meet all necessary design responsibilities.
Skills required:
- Hands-on programming experience in 3D Designing
- Experience in performance tools like: Solid works, Catia, Fusion 360
- Hands-on experience in CAD, CFD
- Strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast-moving start-up environment with Collaboration & Analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, prides yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality, and adaptability.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Mechanical design experience using CAD/SolidWorks software is required.
- Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical 3D CAD design experience using Solidworks. Ability to create parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings in Solidworks
- Proficiency in creating, managing, and using 3D design models for design evaluation, tolerance stack-up analysis, and creation of 2D production and customer documentation.
- Certification from SolidWorks Certification Center is a plus
