Job description:
Curtiss-Wright is conducting an interview for the post of Trainee Associate.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, performs basic electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs to all plant facilities, equipment, tools and machines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine a variety of problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
- Has knowledge of electrical, mechanical and manufacturing principles and able to diagnose and correct all malfunctions in the most economical manner.
- May perform routine equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers.
