Job description:
BOBST is conducting an interview for the post of Electrical Design Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Concept development
- Design calculations
- Creation of electrical diagrams using E3
- Selection of electrical company standard parts
- Creation of assembly drawing in 2D and 3D
- Independently design the sub-assemblies for the machines
- Creation of assembly drawings (ASS) in collaboration with production engineering
- Creation of BOMs (bill of material) in SAP
- Update of documents and managing of engineering changes (modifications)
- Assist and provide solutions to assembly problems
- Critical Skills and Personal Attributes
- Electrical circuit design and panel layout for machines such as Packaging, printing, machine tool etc
- Knowledge of selection of AC/DC drives, PLC/IPC and feedback elements such as encoders, sensors etc
- Experience in product design using electronics (analog and digital) / electrical and in the areas of automation and control with PLC
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge on E3
- Fair knowledge on using SAP software.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 2 to 6 Years for Design Engineer
