Sun Mobility is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee – Product Management (EEE / ECE)
Role description:
It is an important role that spans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides important cross-functional connection between engineering, business development/sales, marketing and support teams.
This role shall be responsible for contributing towards building new products, upgrading existing products, solutions and product roadmap creation.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Candidate must conduct market research to identify customer needs and market gaps, analyze market, trends & competitive conditions and deliver unique value based on customer demands.
- Align to the product vision and create the roadmap.
- Bridging gaps between different functions within the company and aligning the teams involved.
- Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas.
- Ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into product planning and development processes.
- Role will require that the candidate understands the product portfolio, solution ecosystem and suggest product enhancements to improve user experience.
- This role shall contribute to the creation of strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product/product line/solution. Liaise with the Strategy and Branding team to ensure proper positioning of new products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, to ensure delivery of the product or solution, as per the expectations set.
- This role shall compile feature requirements documents, for new products in pipeline and create product support documents, for internal and external users.
- This role shall monitor and report on users’ reactions after launching a product/solution.
Qualifications required:
Candidate must either be a fresher or with experience of less than one year from Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Preferred skills:
- The ideal candidate must have the ability to understand and propose new physical and digital products in EV space.
- This role demands basic understanding of EVs, Charging Protocols and Battery Swapping.
- Good speaker, Keen listener, and should have the ability to take quick decisions whenever required with least supervision.
- The candidate must have a Go getter attitude, in addition to being Self-motivated and voluntarily taking up new responsibilities.
