The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world’s first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To expand the technology that provides us with advantages in programmable solutions, we are looking for a phenomenal intern to join our high-powered team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Develops and documents electrical validation requirements and tests for verification of Si designs. Investigates and resolves complex issues with hardware/firmware related to external memory interfaces (DDR).Develops test content, test for functionality and performance on silicon and triage issues with cross functional team. Generates validation test plans and test reports.

Qualifications required:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

The candidate must be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field including Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Software Engineering, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Information Security.

6+ months experience in or equivalent coursework in the following areas:

  • RTL Design or Verilog, or VHDL or System validation.
  • ASIC Design/ or Circuit design or CMOS circuit design or VLSI design.Computer Architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Good knowledge in FPGA architecture is an added advantage.Experience in developing programming languages such as Python, TCL, C-programming, VBA, HTML, etc. is an added advantage.Signal integrity and Power integrity fundamentals.
