Job description:
West Pharma is conducting an interview for the post of Graduate Trainee.
The Graduate Trainee, D&T, Enterprise User Experience, is a part of the Digital and Transformation team and will be involved in various User Experience (UX) initiatives. The role requires quick learning and the ability to apply functional analysis, UX design, UX industrialization, and data analysis in problem-solving. The focus of this role is to provide practical support for Enterprise UX applications with a strong emphasis on customer excitement, expertise, and timely delivery.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Work independently or collaboratively within teams across different functional areas in a collaborative environment.
- Understand business processes across the enterprise and translate them into effective digital solutions.
- Assist in maintaining UX industrialization standards across the enterprise, ensuring highly usable products during early stages of software development.
- Collaborate with the UI development team to develop testing and validation mechanisms, creating a constant feedback loop for faster iterations.
- Receive training on new functionalities as required.
- Document procedures for system updates and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Basic qualification and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Information Technology / Computer Science) or Business Administration / Design or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of experience.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Quick learning ability for new systems, processes, and data.
- Organized and meticulous with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Strong enthusiasm for delivering superior customer service.
- Aptitude for learning and implementing new technology.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Additional requirements:
- Awareness of all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as per company policy related to the position.
- Compliance with the company’s safety and quality policies.
Physical and travel requirements:
- 15% travel, including global travel.
- Occasional on-call work may be required.
- Preferred working hours are 12 pm – 9 pm India time, with a willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
