Job description:
V Guard is hiring Mechanical Engineers in Kochi.
As a Quality Assurance – Other role in the Electronics Manufacturing industry (Electronic Manufacturing Services – EMS), your primary responsibility will be to assist the Reliability Lab engineer in conducting testing according to the Test Plan and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). You will work collaboratively with the team and demonstrate effective communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Reliability Lab engineer in conducting tests based on the provided Test Plan and SOP.
- Collaborate with the team and maintain a positive and proactive attitude to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Arrange product or part samples for different scenarios, including new, existing, and parts/products with Engineering Change Requests (ECRs/ECNs).
- Monitor and record lab-generated data at specified intervals and compile the data to create lab reports for review.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Clear academic record with no arrears or pending backlogs throughout the course.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech.).
- Basic understanding of measurement instruments like Vernier calipers, Screw gauges, Multimeters, etc.
- Willingness to learn, take directions, and adapt to feedback from lab engineers.
- A creative mindset with skills in test JIG development will be an added advantage.
- Maintain a proactive and positive attitude.
Salary & Industry:
- Salary: 1.5 Lacs per annum.
