Job description:

Micron Technology is conducting an interview for the post of Test Engineering Data Specialist.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  1. Investigate and resolve manufacturing issues related to Burn-In, Electrical Test, and Post Electrical/Finishing processes, and implement effective solutions.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot production lots and testing issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Verify symptoms and report network/software-related problems, collaborating with relevant teams to address them.
  4. Analyze yield reports and scrutinize tester/event logs to identify and address low-yielding lots.
  5. Assist Test Engineers in conducting device analysis and provide necessary support for their requests.
  6. Escalate critical issues on important lots to the appropriate Engineers for urgent resolution.
  7. Collaborate with Engineers to develop processes that resolve process variance, equipment, or device performance problems.
  8. Support product quality control initiatives and ensure equipment and processes are efficient.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and actively participate in improvement activities.

Qualifications and experience required:

  1. Proficient in PC applications, including Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  2. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well as a team player.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
  6. Good command of English is an advantage.
  7. Familiarity with programming languages such as C/C++/Unix/Perl or data extraction/management skills is a plus.
  8. Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and Problem Solving concepts is preferred.
  9. Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering
