Job description:
Pi Solve is looking for an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to help us design and develop an embedded device interfacing with sensors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware design, PCB layout, and microcontroller systems. The ability to create high-quality, reliable devices is crucial to this role. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a novel project in an innovative environment.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded systems including hardware design, PCB layout, and firmware development.
- Implement sensor interfacing and data acquisition systems on microcontroller-based platforms.
- Work closely with the team to understand system requirements and translate them into practical, efficient solutions.
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the proper functioning of the developed system.
Perform system-level integration and validation, including working with various communication protocols. - Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
- Evaluate operational performance of the systems and recommend design modifications.
- Ensure systems are designed and installed in accordance with relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system design and delivery.
Required skills/experience:
- Proven experience in hardware design, PCB layout, and microcontroller programming.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ or another embedded systems language.
- Experience in interfacing with different types of sensors and understanding of data acquisition techniques.
- Experience with various communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).
- Familiarity with embedded software development tools and version control systems like GIT.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Experience with EMC and safety standards.
- 5+ years of experience required.
