Ciena is conducting an interview for the post of Sales Engineer.
The Sales Engineer (SE) plays a pivotal role in driving Ciena’s success, serving as the vital link between Ciena and our valued customers. Leveraging their strong technical expertise, the Sales Engineer works to optimize sales and profitability with existing clients, while also actively cultivating new business opportunities. They take on the primary responsibility for managing the technical aspect of our relationships with both current customers and potential clients.
- Gain knowledge of Ciena’s routing and switching portfolio along with its software solutions
- Aid in the integration of novel concepts and features into customer networks.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals for Ciena solutions.
- Act as a technical expert for customer-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in conducting customer demonstrations and proof of concepts.
- Collaborate and interface effectively with the sales, services, and product line management teams.

Education:
