Job description:
O’Brien is seeking a highly motivated engineering graduate to join the team and to apply their technical knowledge to drive sales.
The successful candidate will have a strong electrical or mechanical background, the ability to understand customer needs and present solutions that meet those needs, as well as experience in designing proposals, quotation estimation and understanding of design tools.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in various stages of the sales process – preparing and delivering sales proposals and contracts.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services so as to effectively troubleshoot customer issues.
- Follow up with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
- Stay current on industry developments and market trends.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the company’s products.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience in designing proposals, quotation estimation and understanding of design tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
