Job description:
Baker Hughes is hiring for the post of Firmware Development Intern.
This is a full-time on-site Internship role for Firmware Development located in Pune for Baker Hughes. The candidate must be in final year of BE/BTech or ME/MTech. We are looking for candidates with electronics background for firmware engineering positions. The intern will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing firmware for embedded systems. The intern will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging and improving performance of existing firmware modules. The intern will work closely with a team of experienced software engineers to accomplish project goals. The candidates shall possess following skill set:
Essential competencies:
Firmware skills:
- Basic knowledge of C/C++programming
- Basic knowledge of micro-controllers, micro-processor, and their architecture
- Basic RTOS awareness
- Basic knowledge/awareness of various protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet, and their operation
- Passionate to explore new technologies, tools and quickly adapt.
Hardware skills:
- Basic Schematic reading skill
- Exposure to usage of Hardware equipment like multimeter, logic analyzer, oscilloscope, functional generator
Team:
- Positive and proactive attitude to learn and solve given problems.
- Work in a highly collaborative and global team-oriented environment with flexible timings
- Self-motivated and self-starter
