Job description:
Park+ is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hardware Engineer to join the dynamic team.
As a Hardware Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on developing cutting-edge hardware solutions. You will be involved in the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept to design, testing, and production. Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of hardware components and systems.
- Collaborate with teams to conceptualize, prototype, and test hardware solutions.
- Conduct research to identify new technologies, components, and methodologies relevant to hardware development.
- Create and maintain documentation including schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications.
- Perform testing and validation of hardware prototypes to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing Partners/Vendors to ensure smooth production transitions and quality control.
- Participate in the selection and qualification of components and materials for production.
- Assist in debugging and resolving hardware-related issues during development and post-production phases.
- Efforts to optimize product manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- R&D Component & tools management.
- Should be open for traveling for site visits.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field with 1+ years of experience.
- Solid understanding of fundamental concepts in electronics and hardware design.
- Experience in working with DSO, DMM, LCR meter.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
- Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and schematic capture.
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Working experience in the Parking domain is a plus.
