dVerse Technologies is conducting an internship for Mechanical Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Intern located in Chennai. The Mechanical Design Intern will work closely with our team to design mechanical assemblies, build prototypes using 3D printing and iterate as required. The daily tasks will include computer-aided design (CAD) modeling, prototyping, and testing.
Qualifications required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and materials science
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) modeling software, preferably SolidWorks
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with mechanical prototyping and design projects is a plus
- Availability to work full-time for at least 3-6 months is a plus
