Semtech is conducting an interview for the post of Firmware Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The Firmware Engineer on the Module Integration team develops embedded software and supporting tools to commercialize products that meet marketing requirements, as well as supporting those products as Sierra’s customers deploy our products in the field.
- Firmware/software design and development of Cellular & RF technology
- Work on Cellular technology GSM (LTE/5G), CDMA, GPS and private network.
- Knowledge of USB/PCIe/UART driver and protocol.
- Handling equipment like RF signal generator, RF measurement Spectrum analysers and debugging tools.
Qualification and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s in computers, Electronics or similar discipline
- 0-2 yrs experience in Firmware design/development, Cellular & RF technology
- Good understanding of processor architecture and digital electronics, C/C++ coding, Python coding
- Good oral and written communication skills
