Job description:
Fyllo is seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Engineer to join the team with 2+ years of experience.
Job duties and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our devices for our innovative agricultural technology solutions. You will collaborate with cross- functional teams to ensure the integration of our products and contribute to the advancement of precision agriculture.
- Design and develop new product PCB layouts.
- Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers for ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Define and execute comprehensive test plans to validate and optimize the performance of the product under various environmental conditions.
- Write firmware for different IoT products.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and scientific advancements in the field of PCB layout, and apply that knowledge to improve device design and performance.
- Collaborate with the product development team to define product requirements, specifications, and roadmap for soil sensing technologies.
- Document design specifications, test results, and technical reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and product improvement.
- Source components for manufacturing prototypes.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ECE, EE and Instrumentation or a related field.
- Proficiency in PCB layout design and BOM.
- Experience with hardware integration and testing.
- Having good knowledge in analog and digital circuitry, and signal processing techniques.
- Familiarity with precision agriculture concepts.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross- functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
