Job description:
Siemens is looking for QA Engineer – Traction Motor & Railway Gearbox.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Study the component drawings & manufacturing processes and prepare inspection & control plan.
- Carry out hands-on inspection of part, component, sub-assembly and decide on conformance at incoming, in process and final (pre-dispatch) stage.
- In case of deviation, prepare a deviation report and involve concerned authorities for decision on deviation.
- Analyze monthly deviation, plan and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in in-house and supplier process & quality improvement.
- Carry out source inspection of components and parts as per inspection and control plan i.e. at the end of supplier.
- Operate Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM), Manual inspection instruments e.g. Vernier calipers, micrometer screw gauge etc.
- Carry out internal process and product audit for verifying compliance to standards.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Qualification: Diploma Mechanical / Production with 0-2years of experience (an intelligent & competent fresher will be preferred).
