Inkers Technology announces an internship opportunity for a Hardware Design Engineer. If you have a passion for working with embedded platforms and a strong interest in sensor fusion, communication protocols, and hardware design, this could be a great fit for you.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As a Hardware Design Engineer intern, you will be involved in a variety of exciting tasks, including:
- Camera and LiDAR Calibration
- Camera Intrinsic Calibration
- Thermal Calibration
- Hardware Design and Assembly, 3D Printing, soldering
- Li-Ion Battery integration with Hardware
- Engaging in miscellaneous yet intriguing projects
Requirements:
- Embedded Platform Experience: Inkers Technology is looking for candidates with hands-on experience working with embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Beaglebone, Jetson, etc.
- Sensor Fusion and More: A basic understanding of sensor fusion, IMUs, motor controllers, cameras, LiDAR, and related technologies will be beneficial.
- Communication Protocols: Knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, SPI, and UART is essential for this role.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with ROS, basic Python, and exposure to C++ programming will be valuable assets.
