Intel is looking for Logic Design Engineers in Bangalore.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with system architects to spearhead the design and development of a cutting-edge PCI Express Gen 6 subsystem, ensuring seamless integration with our next-generation datacenter products. Leverage state-of-the-art process nodes to drive innovation, achieving superior performance, power efficiency, and area optimization that surpass ambitious product key performance indicators (KPIs). Take ownership of the entire design lifecycle, from inception to production, including active involvement in silicon power-on and post-silicon validation endeavors. Lead the charge in addressing signal integrity hurdles, utilizing your expertise in high-speed interconnects and advanced modulation techniques. Conduct rigorous simulations and validation tests to ensure robustness, adherence to industry standards, and alignment with our power, performance, and area (PPA) objectives. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to a dynamic team, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and technical excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in high-speed digital design, with a notable portfolio in PCI Express Gen 5/6 or similar technologies.
- In-depth understanding of the latest semiconductor process technologies and the associated challenges.
- Proficiency in hardware description languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Demonstrated track record of successful project execution from conceptualization to silicon realization, including hands-on involvement in power-on and post-silicon activities.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to design and validation.
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team of engineers.
