MediaTek is conducting apprenticeships for various positions in Bangalore.
#1: Apprenticeship PCT
Duties and responsibilities:
- Duplicate and diagnose cellular modem system or platform issues that can occur in a lab or real-network environment (Any RAT: 2G/3G/4G/5G)
- Collaborate with global sites RD teams to resolve system or platform issues
- Develop SW tools to automate the diagnosis of platform issues
Requirements:
Work on embedded software development or design verification and C Programming skills
#2: Apprenticeship IT
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT /Electronics Engineering with strong educational background in Information Technology
- The capacity to Understand, Debug, resolve technical and applications issues.
- Basic knowledge of RedHat Linux & Windows.
- Ability to work independently and Team Player.
- Good people inter-personal relationship building skill (with good attitude and respect toward others)
- Willing to learn new technologies and adapt to new working environment. Quick Learner.
#3: Apprenticeship CD6
Requirements:
- B.Tech Electrical/Electronics Engineering with strong educational background in Digital circuit design
- Physical design of high performance design with frequencies > 2 Ghz.
- Hierarchical design, budgeting, multiple voltage domains and multiple clock domains.
- Skills with Cadence Encounter.
- Understanding of STA and timing constraints.
- Will work on advanced process nodes (16nm).
- Physical Verification to debug LVS/DRC issues at block level.
#4: Apprenticeship DV
Requirements:
- Verification with SV/UVM methodology.
- Work in SoC /IP level Verification is a must.
- Writing /debugging C and assembly tests desirable.
- RTL debugging Skills
#5: Apprenticeship WCS
Responsibilities:
- Design and development of 2G/3G Access Stratum, especially data plane (RLC/MAC/PDCP/SNDCP/LLC) SW
- Fixing defects and updating the analysis results in the defect tracking system
- Participate in system level analysis and debugging complex issues
Requirements:
- Experience In GSM/WCDMA Or Any Other Cellular Wireless Technology
- Good Understanding of 3GPP requirements for 2G/3G & Multimode aspects
- Experience in 2G/3G Access Stratum SW development (RR/RRC/RLC/MAC)
- Experience in embedded software development
- Programming in C/C++
#6: Apprenticeship CD3
Requirements:
- Work with top/block level Synthesis, Timing closure (STA).
- DCT/DCG based Synthesis, Equivalence checks.
- Well versed with tcl / Perl script
- Will work on UPF and Conformal Low Power checks
