GE Aviation is offering a 3/6 months internship opportunity for students pursuing Masters/PhDs in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering who are interested in user interface development for customized automation systems.
Essential functions / responsibilities:
The Engine Cleaning & Inspection Technology team is seeking an Intern with a background in software interface development for automation systems. Explore potential design concepts for user interfaces and adapt them based on user feedback. Develop wireframe concepts for potential implementation in a software interface for automation/robotic systems. Coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs to establish clear requirements for the software interface.
Qualifications/requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
- Exposure to front-end user interface development for automation systems.
- Hands-on experience with the ability to set up and run experiments.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented research environment.
