Job description:
Qualcomm is looking for IOT Testing Engineers.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- The role involves exposure to the Linux Android environment and participation in test automation utilizing Python, Perl, or shell scripting.
- Responsibilities include both manual and automated testing on System-on-Chips (SoCs), with a focus on Performance, Sanity, or Stability testing.
- The position also entails the creation of test automation frameworks in collaboration with team members and the exploration of AI/ML-based test methodologies.
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the Linux boot process, memory management, process management, etc., along with exposure to Linux Command Line Interface (CLI). Hands-on experience with embedded device testing, preferably in Mobile/IoT/Automotive domains, is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or related languages.
- Knowledge of automation technologies and testing methodologies for System-on-Chips (SoCs).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Fundamentals of the Linux operating system.
