Job description:
Analog Devices Inc (ADI) is seeking Digital IC Design and Verification Engineers to join its Chip Design and Development team in Bangalore, India.
Job duties and responsibilities:
This role involves contributing to chip development using ultra-deep submicron semiconductor process technologies, under the guidance of experienced ADI design and verification engineers
- Develop key digital blocks and System-on-Chips (SoCs).
- Design optimal micro-architecture considering power, performance, and area tradeoffs.
- Verify key digital blocks and SoCs in High-Speed signal converter/Communication products.
- Define test plans, tests, and verification methodologies for block and chip-level verification.
- Utilize industry-leading CAD tools for design and verification tasks.
Essential skills:
- Proficiency in Verilog.
- Understanding of digital circuit design, both combinational and sequential.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Perl/Python.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
Additional desired skills:
- Familiarity with System Verilog.
- Experience with FPGA/MATLAB projects would be advantageous.
- Understanding of signal processing/filtering concepts.
- Good knowledge of ADCs/DACs.
- Basic understanding of pipelining and familiarity with assembly language, such as 8085.
