Job description:
Textron is hiring for the post of Graduate Engineer.
Job duties and responsibilities:
The candidate will be assigned to projects spanning Product Design, Structural Analysis, Flight Technology, and Product Support. Working under the guidance of a mentor, daily tasks will include conducting research, developing design concepts, performing performance calculations, conducting structural analysis, and utilizing commercial or in-house FE codes for Structural Dynamics analysis. The engineer is expected to provide timely recommendations for improving assigned tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct research, trade studies, and develop design concepts.
- Perform performance calculations and structural analysis.
- Utilize CAD packages for solid modeling.
- Interpret mechanical drawings.
- Apply knowledge of common fabrication and assembly processes.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of aircraft structures design, structural analysis, and principles of flight and structural dynamics.
Preferred experience:
- Strong academic credentials.
- Proficiency in Strength of Materials and Finite Element Analysis.
- Experience with CAD and CAE tools.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
