Job description:
UST Global is seeking a motivated individual who is a quick learner and can deliver according to client requirements.
As a valuable team member, you will be responsible for timely execution and sharing of results. Strong knowledge of both computer hardware and software is essential for this role.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Learn and perform installation and configuration of Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 10, 11).
- Identify test cases from provided sets for execution.
- Develop a basic understanding of Platform HW/SW components for post-silicon testing.
- Utilize various Benchmark tools, Stress & Stability, and Power Management techniques (minimum 2 years of experience in the same environment).
- Reproduce reported failures in required platform configurations and manage defects effectively.
- Possess basic knowledge of system BIOS, UEFI framework and architecture, USB, Multimedia, Drivers, Cameras, Disks, Desktops, Power Management, Type C, and silicon technologies.
- Analyze system Power states and Device states, and contribute to Test strategy development.
- Adhere to client schedules and actively participate in standup meetings, ensuring thorough understanding of testing requirements. Flexibility with work location and timing is required, including readiness to work with systems on racks.
Skills required:
- Ability to comprehend various Windows product features and execute corresponding test cases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and debug issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams.
- Capability to assemble computer systems.
- Proficiency in understanding, articulating, and isolating issues observed during test execution.
