Job description:
KPIT is conducting an interview for the post of Mechanical Design Engineer.
Job requirements:
- CAD design experience with Creo.
- Experience in designing the body parts of heavy vehicles
- Vehicle Integration – R&D Compulsory Experience and knowledge in vehicle engineering and integration
- Strong knowledge vehicle architecture and calculation Aware of Component functionality
- Material selection Basic knowledge of manufacturability, DFx and DFMEA Delivery of 3D model and 2D drawing for manufacturing through CAD
- Hands on experience New Product design & Development. Support to component packaging of vehicle aggregates
- Aware of Vehicle regulatory standards
- Preparing Certification Plan, Benchmarking study Technical Specifications preparation & its releases Outdoor / Indoor Testing Plan monitoring.
- DMU Preparation & DMU feedback &finalization Interaction with team members and other cross functions like Production / Service
- Having Knowledge of ECN / ECR Work experience with Client Knowledge of RCA, VAVE, 8D Person Specification
- BE in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
- 3-5 Years R&D experience in Vehicle integration
